Classes
This class provides you with a core strength and relaxation workout. In Pilates your centre is your powerhouse, with each exercise being controlled by the contraction of the abdominal and lower back muscles.
During Pilates you will aim to develop a more supple, well balanced body, and correct the problems of back pain, bad posture and injury. The benefits of Pilates are increased muscle tone, strength, and flexibility, better posture and more energy through a series of gentle mat-based exercises.
East meets West relaxing music can be heard in the background allowing the mind to focus on correct movement patterns, and a short relaxation is enjoyed at the end of class. The basis of the Pilates method is the conscious control of all muscular movements in the body “Contrology” developed by Joseph Pilates in 1943.

You can pay weekly for your classes, or you can buy 12 weeks to receive £1 off each class.
How to book
All classes are now available to book in advance, either online or via the Ticket Office. Alternatively you can pay at Ticket Office before the class starts but we would ask you to check availability with Dance City to avoid disappointment.
