Age: 12-16
Suitable clothing/equipment: Comfortable clothing that's easy to move around in.
Description of a typical class: Girlz Only takes place three times a week and is an urban class.
First is a Tuesday evening - in this class we concentrate on technique as well as creating routines together.
On a Saturday two classes take place. In the first session we work towards Dance City's end of term performances. Although the class is primarily Hip Hop, we do use contemporary dance to give the choreography a bit of an edge.
The second Girlz Only class on a Saturday is Level 2 at 16.00-17.00. This class is exactly the same but shorter in length, therefore the pace of the class is quicker and the girls are pushed more, so some previous dance experience is needed.
