MOKO Dance the national dance partnership for young people and their families present their first touring production, MOKO MIX - an exciting new double bill.

THE SUITCASE STORY
A poignant and uplifting dance show about a little girl and her magical, travelling suitcase. Lonely, and finding herself caught in the middle of her parents’ divorce, a little girl seeks comfort in a dream world she conjures from inside her mysterious suitcase and an imaginary friend.

Devised and choreographed by Christopher Marney, The Suitcase Story is a sensitive and heart-warming tale for young audiences aged 7+ and their families.

Christopher Marney has choreographed and performed in an exceptional range of critically acclaimed productions from Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures (Swan Lake) to the creation of work for London's West End.

THE ROCK
A group of children from a sleepy remote town meet up regularly to share confidences and the stories of their lives at a mysterious place called The Rock. Set in a dark, eerie clearing, The Rock is a place where strange events unfold and these life-long friends discover what happens when their secrets spring to life.

The Rock is an uplifting tale full of adventure, magic and thrilling escapades for children aged 7+ and their families.

Tamsin Fitzgerald is the founder of the all male 2Faced Dance Company. Tamsin’s critically acclaimed work for 2Faced has included 7.0, Still Breathing and State of Matter. She was awarded a prestigious Rayne Fellowship for her choreography, which has led her to work alongside Australian Dance Theatre, Ballet Boyz, and the Birmingham Rep. Tamsin is a DanceXchange Associate Artist.

MOKO Dance is a national dance partnership dedicated to opening the eyes of young people and their families to the power of dance.
