Youth Dance North East creates opportunities for young people to access high quality, meaningful dance activity your area. This work is implemented across the region through the creation of six Youth Dance Hubs. Below is information of our Youth Dance Programme.

North East Dance Teachers Network

The North East Dance Teachers Network exists to give teachers delivering dance within schools the opportunity to share ideas, find out about opportunities and events and create a network throughout the North East. Education and training in dance for teaching professionals. 

Dance Practitioners Directory

Dance Practitioners Directory is collated by Dance City and contains information about dance practitioners and organisationsworking in a vast variety of dance styles across the North of England. This directory is designed as a resource to help people find a dance artist or dance organisation to lead dance activity. 

U.Dance 2012

PULSE North East is the regional U.Dance event for the North East and will give groups from all over the region the opportunity to perform in a professional performance space. Find out more information on your local Pulse 2012 event here.

North East Dance Training Directory

The North East Dance Training Directory lists available courses for young people aged 16 and above and want to continue their dance or dance-related training in the North-East of England. 

Arts Award

Dance City is a newly-announced Arts Award Welcome venue and is proud to support the Arts Award scheme, helping young people aged 11-25 in their development as artists and arts leaders.
