Making work for presentation outdoors opens up a range of possibilities that are increasingly attractive to dance practitioners and companies in the UK. A strong network of national and international festivals and commissioning bodies offers the opportunity to engage with new and diverse audiences, escape the confines of the black box theatre space and develop new sources of income. Join us on 22nd June to find out how the likes of Motionhouse, Nuno Silva, Tilted and Newcastle’s own Southpaw Dance Company have found success with outdoor audiences.
