Dance City is the National Dance Agency for the North East of England.

THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES FROM MONDAY 7-SUNDAY 20 APRIL. CLASSES COMMENCE ON MONDAY 21 APRIL.

To acompany the festival Carl Cordonnier and Penny Rae have created an exhibition of images along with words from people interviewed on the street about how and when dance came into their lives. Come and see the exhibition here at Dance City in May.

From classes and  workshops to the presentation of work from leading international choreographers to superb educational opportunities through academy and degree courses (in partnership with Northumbria University) Dance City offers the public and professionals alike the opportunity to participate in dance at all levels across the North East of England.
