You can also donate by attending ROMA on Fri 3 Aug at St Mary’s Heritage Centre, Gateshead. Tickets are at a suggested donation.
Anthony Lo-Giudice says,
Taking the work to Edinburgh will give my company the chance to perform in the biggest theatre festival in the world. It will give the company and I the chance to promote the exciting and emerging dance work that is based in the North East and we will be representing dance alongside many fantastic Northern based theatre companies.
ROMA charts the influences of the choreographer’s Italian heritage, from his journey through childhood to adulthood, exploring love, loss and the deep rooted tradition of family honour.
ROMA is a commission awarded by Dance City and premiered in May 2012.
