Class times: Every Friday 7pm-8pm
This is a brand new class so you can try it out for free any time between now and Christmas! Simply add it to your basket and the 100% discount will be automatically be applied.

What is it?
In this class you will learn the basics of dancing, developing skills in rhythm, timing and covering all of the basic steps such as turns, simple footwork and moving through the space. This will provide fundamental dancing knowledge which can be applied to any other dance style. It will help you to build confidence in moving to music so you’ll soon be the first on the dancefloor! Each ticket includes one drink of choice* from the Dance City café before the class starts to get you into the dancing spirit!
*Choose from a small glass of house red/white/rose, a bottle of beer, a single spirit and mixer or any hot/soft drink. Drinks must be ordered by 6.30pm and cannot be taken into the studio. You must show your ticket at the cafe to redeem your drink.

Who is it for?
Adults 18+ with no dance experience.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that you can move around in easily and indoor trainers.

What should I bring?
A bottle of water for during the class.

Teacher Alyssa Lisle
Alyssa began her contemporary dance training on the Dance City CAT aged 13, and trained on the BA (Hons) Dance Professional Practice at Dance City. She has worked for Creative Seed Carnival Company, Fertile Ground Dance and is currently a dancer for Abbott Dance Theatre.
