About
Fabritia D’Intino (ITA) and Clémentine Vanlerberghe (FR) have worked together since 2013 developing their dance practice and choreographic research. In 2019 they co-created the quartet Plubel with strong visual engagement and movement vocabulary that reflects on the concept of “ensemble”. Plubel has toured extensively across Europe and was featured as part of choreographic competition Danse Élargie at the Theatre de La Ville (Paris) and the Danse Élargie Suite programme at Sadlers Wells (London). This year it is coming to Dance City as part of Fertile Ground’s Myths and Dreams programme.

Fabritia’s and Clémentine’s workshop includes both physical actions and theoretical discussion. Starting with a thematic warm up, the work will focus on the analysis of the condition of coexistence of bodies in space through improvisation practices. The purpose is to share different approaches and strategies for the body to move in a group, deepen the capacity of listening and awakening a sense of awareness and reciprocity.
