Alyssa's class focuses on pushing the body physically and creating space for individuality and play. Described as a 'holiday in your body', the class places choices and permission to the forefront in order of the session to make the experience as open as possible.
The class begins with gentle improvisation and visualisation, moving through into release-based movement exercises that encourage flow and groove. Promising lots of funky moves and funkier tunes!

About Alyssa:
Alyssa grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, and studied on the BA (Hons) Programme at Dance City. Since then, she has been exploring her artistry through performance, facilitation and choreography. Alyssa's values are joy, empowerment and experience, which she uses to drive forward her artistry in all areas of her work. Her passions are to create accessible and meaningful work and share her love for dance with the communities around her.
