Alexander Whitley Dance Company is presenting Overflow at Dance City this weekend and is pleased to offer an opportunity for local dancers to take class with one of our talented cast members. Dancer Stephen Quildan will lead attendees through a session exploring a range of contemporary dance techniques, which echo the technical demands of Alexander’s choreography.

Stephen’s class is designed to build awareness, strength, technique and coordination whilst engaging the brain. His class is fast-paced, energising and mixes a variety of contemporary dance thought-processes. Focusing on musicality, quality, rhythm and alignment he hopes to bring joy whenever he teaches.

As a dancer Stephen has worked with Rambert, English National Ballet, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Opera de Lyon, Noism Company Niigata (Japan), Peter Schaufuss Ballett and others. He has also danced many works, both in collaborations and re-staging's including, Christopher Bruce, Merce Cunningham, Didy Veldman, Fukiko Takase, Mark Baldwin, Itzik Galili, Julie Cunningham, Nanine Linning, Studio Wayne McGregor, Yuki Mori, Dane Hurst, Ben Duke and others.
