Class description: Cabaret is a style of entertainment that often includes a collection of short performances of music, theatre, and dance put together over the course of the performance. Cabaret has taken on a life of its own over the years, constantly being reinvented with each culture that the art form encounters. It also inspired a Broadway musical and film that featured an iconic performance by Liza Minnelli, through which many people later became aware of cabaret and its entertainment value. This class is a fun way of boosting self-confidence and empowering your inner showgirl; you’ll leave feeling like Christina Aguilera!
What should I wear? Comfortable clothing, heels suitable for indoor use, must be a block heel.
Who is it for? Adults 18+ of all ages and abilities, ready to bring some sass to the studio!
What should I bring? Bottle of water.

About the teacher: Jess's styles are Jazz fused with Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Commercial, Street Dance and Ballet. Jess has performed Cabaret shows across the North East from Northern Stage, The Majestic Theatre, Can Can Bar and many other well-known venues with her troupe Cabaret Devine.
