About the teacher

Cara Hogarth is a dance artist and a recent graduate from Dance City’s BA(Hons) degree in Professional Dance and is based in the North East. She is currently working as a teaching assistant on Newcastle’s Centre of Advanced Training Street Dance programme. Cara started her dance journey in Swansea, training in street dance styles such as House and Hip- Hop, competing in competitions across South Wales. She moved to Leeds in 2021 to study at Northern Contemporary School of Dance on the CertHe course in contemporary. She has a passion for yoga, completing 100 hours teaching training in Rishikesh, India in April 2024. Cara has previously worked for Lil Beatz North Tyneside delivering fun and engaging street dance classes for children aged between 2-11
