Risk Dance Company is a small collective of emerging artists, working together to expand our artist practice. Under the direction of contemporary artist Elle Weekes, we aim to bring to our audiences dynamic and innovative live works as well as site specific work and dance for camera. We work in collaboration with artists in other sectors of the industry for example, filmmakers, visual artists, costume and lighting designers, as well as exclusive performance photographers. Alongside the research and production of our own work, we offer creative workshops designed specifically to meet your requirements. It is important to us to engage and encourage groups and individuals of all ages and abilities into the arts, by facilitating students to explore the depth of their own capabilities within a creative environment. Risk is also passionate about supporting dancers currently in training, by offering opportunities to work with the company during our research and development phases. We give students the chance to contribute to a creative process whilst working within a professional environment.
