Dance City welcomes pro artists to 2026 Creative Winter Residency Programme

Do you have a bold new dance idea waiting to move? A performance concept you’re ready to bring to life? Or simply the urge to explore, experiment, and create?
This Winter, Dance City is opening the doors to its purpose-built studios-offering free creative space to professional dance artists throughout our Winter break as part of our Creative Winter Residency Programme.
Whether you’re an individual artist, a company, or a collaboration, this residency is available to give you the time and space to take your ideas to the next level. Spend 5 days immersed in one of our studios or Theatre.
This is an opportunity to:
- Research new ideas
- Prepare for projects in the New Year
- Develop Creative collaborations
Residency Dates
We’re offering studio space between 9:00 and 16:00 on the following weeks:
- Week 1: Monday 21 December – Wednesday 23 December
- Week 2: Tuesday 29 December – Wednesday 30 December

Please note: while the residency space is offered free of charge, Dance City cannot provide financial support for participating artists or companies.
