Dance City’s Summer Dance Camps are back! These week-long sessions give children a chance to try lots of different dance styles in a safe, friendly, and inspiring environment, and perform for family and friends at the end of the week.

We had a fantastic Easter Dance Camp this year, which was themed around ‘fusion’ and included a variety of different dance styles including Theatrical Contemporary, Bollywood and Street. The children and young people gave an amazing end of week performance to a packed theatre of family and friends.

100% of attendees who responded to our feedback survey gave Fusion Easter Dance Camp 10 out of 10.

What parents say about Dance City Dance Camps:

“My son had a wonderful week and can’t wait to go again.”

“A very professional and organised club with great teaching. My daughter loved it! The end of week show showed how hard they had worked all week and it was great discipline for her.”

“Both girls loved the classes. They made some friends and have expressed an interest in other sessions.”

Dance Camps take place in the beautiful Dance City venue in Newcastle. Whether your child already dances or is a complete beginner all they need is passion and enthusiasm to get moving and have fun! The teaching staff are all experienced dance artists who will support your child to have the best experience, growing not only in dance skills but in confidence and social skills too. We end the week with an exciting performance for friends and family, on stage in Dance City’s very own Theatre.

Children are sorted into age and skill appropriate groups at the start of each Dance Camp, by our expert dance teaching team.
