Young Creatives Applications Now Open – One Dance UK

Young Creatives is a national programme managed by One Dance UK in partnership with the Royal Opera House and Rambert. It aims to help young people develop their choreographic skills with the help of a professional mentor, and to give them a high profile platform to present their own work. We welcome applications from young people working in any dance style who are interested in creating new dance work. The project is for young people aged 15 to 19 (or up to 25 for people with disabilities).

Know a budding young choreographer? Don’t let them miss this great opportunity and tell them to apply now!

What is Young Creatives?

Young Creatives is a national programme managed by One Dance UK in partnership with the Royal Opera House and Rambert. As part of the programme, dancers will benefit from the opportunity to work with a choreographic mentor who will support them to develop a piece from an initial idea or a work-in-progress through to a finished product through feedback and support. The young dancers will also benefit from: classes, workshops and rehearsals at Dance Hub, Birmingham, the Royal Opera House and Rambert; the opportunity to perform their work formally at the Clore Studio, Royal Opera House and the enjoyment of meeting other young people and Young Creatives mentors during intensive days and workshops.
