PULSE celebrates the best in youth dance across the region. It provides groups (schools and community), with the opportunity to perform in a professional space local to them, be inspired, see each other’s work and acknowledge the talent of young creators and performers.

You have the chance now to apply for one of the Sub Regional PULSE Events which take place throughout the North East in February/March 2018, and two groups from every venue (listed below) will be selected to perform at the Regional PULSE Event at Dance City on 17 March 2018, where a final group will be selected to represent the North East at U.Dance in Surrey in July 2018.

This opportunity is for groups of dancers aged 11-19. PULSE is an inclusive dance event and we encourage inclusive dance groups up to the age of 24. Dance groups can also opt out of the selection process if they wish.
