This June, Dance City, Rendez-Vous dance, the Made In The North East venue cohort plus guest speakers, came together to discover the process behind the making of The Monocle, a new dance theatre work co-commissioned and presented in 2022 across the North East. In depth insights into the marketing strategies, approaches to engagement and venue case studies were shared, as well as an overview of the official project evaluation report and a live performance excerpt by one of the professional cast. The symposium was an opportunity to learn more about making, programming and touring dance across our region in 2022 and beyond.
