Call for Projects – Danse Elergie

Can you present something on stage in 10 minutes?

Danse Elergie is a competition that challenges you to present a piece of art in only 10 minutes.

It takes place on 16 & 17 June 2018 at Théâtre de la Ville Espace Cardin in Paris.

Through four editions of the competition (and in less than ten minutes, each time), they got to see: three hundred people enter then exit the stage; a badminton match played by children; three generations of Peruvians singing and recounting the story of their country; forty-three bodies poised between death and ecstasy to the airs of an opera; droves of jumpers who had previously only met on the Internet; a group named Nous Love Cha Cha Cha; a drummer hammering away at his drum kit with sticks made of plaster; twenty-five dog-walkers; a sheep waiting his turn in the wings; alligators in conversation with Dick Rivers; a meditation workshop; dance is a dirty job but somebody’s got to do it; a TED Talk on the use of guns with the intent to shoot dancers; boxing; aerobics; a competition within the competition; not to mention the expunging of the moon in exactly ten minutes.
