IncludFEST TIN Arts

IncludFEST is a FREE outdoor summer arts festival for children and young people with and without disabilities and their families. Produced by TIN Arts, everyone is invited to come and enjoy a range of arts activities including live music and outdoor street theatre as well as lots of ‘have a go’ and ‘make it’ workshops. IncludFEST takes place in park environments and provides a range of arts opportunities for children with and without disabilities to take part equally as a listener, viewer, doer and maker.

In 2016, IncludFEST will be taking place in 2 locations over the summer: IncludFEST Tees Valley on Sunday 24 July in South Park Darlington and IncludFEST Durham on Saturday 13 August (venue tbc).

TIN Arts are calling out for artists / organisations interested in contributing to these 2 events. To register an Expression of Interest for one or both events please complete the online survey. They are interested in receiving a broad range of expressions including potential performances by professional companies, community and/ or young people’s groups as well as activities that those attending can join in with from dancing and singing to making, creating, listening to a story or even watching a puppet show!

The focus is on making sure ALL activities or performances are INCLUSIVE FOR ALL so they are especially keen to hear about how your idea or work might engage all attendees particularly children and young people with a disability.

They are keen to receive as many Expressions of Interest as possible to make the events truly diverse, vibrant, exciting and to cater for all interests and needs!
