Marketing Officer – The Customs House

The Customs House is the premiere arts and entertainment centre in South Tyneside and has a national reputation for its work with young people and regional accolades for its theatrical productions, musical entertainment, and multi-award-winning annual Pantomime.  A not-for-profit registered charity, The Customs House works for the benefit of its community. For many, it is where they first experience theatre, film and visual arts, and for some it provides the opportunity to become performers and creators of art themselves. The role of the Marketing and Programming Team is to broaden and deepen awareness of what The Customs House offers across their local and regional communities, increase brand awareness, and build attendances and revenues.  Central to this function is audience development activity through advertising, social media and word-of-mouth campaigns; data collection through Box Office systems; market research analysis through Audience Finder and similar software services.
