Summer Pro Class – North East Dance Cooperative

NEDC PRO DANCER CO-OP CLASS

This summer the North East Dance Cooperative are offering Pro Co-op Classes: classes and training delivered by professional dancers for professional dancers.

Venue: Space Six, Newcastle upon Tyne
Day/Time: Wednesdays 18:30 – 20:00
Dates: 24 July to 28 August

— How does it work? —

We bring together a group of professional dancers who are interested in the chance to access regular, affordable, professional-level classes at a time/place that suits them.

Members of the group are invited to take turns volunteering to lead the class, meaning a chance to hone your teaching skills, showcase your talents, or even test the water teaching for the first time!

Each week a new artist will lead the group, meaning everyone gets to learn from one another, and we expect to see a fantastic smörgåsbord of dance styles and techniques.

With one of the group always volunteering to lead the class, there are no teacher’s fees to cover, so sessions may cost as little as £3 per person!

Want something specific like Graham or Vaganova? Why not nominate a local pro, or invite a touring artist to join you for a session?

To get the ball rolling, NEDC HQ has organised the day/time/venue for the summer sessions. Once the group is established it will be YOUR choice as to how you’d like to proceed from September — your class, your call.
