Teaching Post for Ballet School in Sri Lanka
The Deanna School of Dancing (DSD) established in 1980 is located in the heart of Colombo.
The school follows the Royal Academy of Dance (UK) Syllabus.
Teaching Times:
Monday- Friday:
3.00-6.30/7.00pm
Saturday
9.00-1.30pm 2.00pm-6.00pm(Senior classes)
Students ranging from 2-5years do free and fun movement /imaginative ballet classes.
Students 5+ start on RAD syllabus. We train students up to Advanced 1.
Duties: Teachers are expected to assist with choreography on the annual show which takes place during the 2nd term. Extra practices should be expected. For examination classes teachers must prepare lesson plans a week ahead with music according to the school plan already prepared. These plans must include good training exercises and a fun element to the lesson.. We suggest work and music should be prepared on your personal lap top.
Teachers Choice:
Teacher has the option of doing examination coaching classes or private lessons during the 3rd term for students that may require further assistance before their examinations.

Option of do ur own classes in the morning for adults: we can discuss if you would like to perhaps start a Zumba or Yoga class.
