Volunteers Needed for Art Performance

Chris Owen is a Fine Art Student at Newcastle University and is loooking for volunteers interested in movement over the age of 18 to get involved in a piece he is directing.

He is looking for performers aged 18+ to participate in a piece being showcased at the Newcastle University Fine Art Degree Show on the evening of the 3rd June at the Great North Museum. The piece will last approximately 15 minutes, focusing primarily on movement and gesture, accompanied by loud techno music. The work explores a romantic relationship or connection between two guys and he is looking for a large ensemble to surround the choreography he has been devising between these two characters.

No particular level of skill is needed, he’s looking for a large group of people who will help create the ambience of the scene. Good for those interested in physical theatre, expecting lots of extremely slow movement and gestures.
