SEAD is looking for a Faculty Teacher and Coordinator
SEAD seeks a responsible person passionate about their field of interest and able to mentor, track progress and assess student development to take on the joint role of Faculty teacher and Coordinator in a full time position.
They are looking for a strong, physical, clear teacher for the professional academy program. Ideally the successful candidate offers one or more subjects of the curriculum which includes contemporary technique, ballet, yoga, somatic practices, dance theory, composition, improvisation. The faculty teacher plays a key role in the rotating faculty system of SEAD and will be involved in the curriculum development.
The incumbent will be a student adviser and coordinates the audition process and leads the community dance program taught by academy students. It is an expectation of the role that the incumbent will develop and lead these areas.
The successful candidate will be PhD qualified or have equivalent professional experience, and experienced as a leading educator in their specialist field. Additionally, excellent management skills and excellent English are requested.

This is a full time continuing position, starting July 2017.
The salary is commensurate with experience.
