Call Out to Take Part in Fairground Reminiscence

Fairground Reminiscence: a celebration of fairground heritage.  Through an   immersive performance installation, museum and gallery spaces will be transformed through a fairground set design, an obscure artists impression of a colourful exotic world. Awarded a Space Time   Bursary to support the first stage of the project from Space Six in partnership with the Empty Space.

Newcastle based choreographer Adam Russell is looking for an eclectic mix of  community performers   to take part in a number of  workshops as part of the  research and development phase of the project.

The team is looking for 2 groups of participants

• Children aged 8 to 14   (Group   A)

• Performers of all ages aged 14 upwards (with an interest in drumming and percussion) (Group   B)

Workshops are held at Space  Six, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 6QE

Sunday 1st  April: 1pm  –  4pm Group A | 4pm   –   6pm  Group B

Sunday 8th April 1pm  –  4pm  Group   A  | 4pm   –   6pm   Group B

Sunday 15th April 1pm  –  4pm  Group   A  | 4pm  –  6pm  Group B

Sunday 22nd April  1pm  –  6pm  Both Groups

Sunday   29th   April  1pm  –  6pm  Both Groups
