Engagement Coordinator (Part-Time – Maternity Cover) – Pavillion Dance

The role of the Engagement Coordinator (Maternity Cover) is to provide administrative support to, and act as, the main point of contact for a busy Engagement Team. In addition to general administrative tasks the role will lead on the coordination of key projects including the weekly class programme, and play a pivotal role in the delivery of our live indoor and outdoor events and projects such as Dancing Terraces, Parkinson’s Awareness Day and the termly Revues, to name a few. The role will be in regular contact with our participants, artists, teachers and audiences and will collaborate across the different departments of PDSW such as Marketing and Finance.

The Engagement Team consists of three full time members of staff who are responsible for delivering our community programmes for schools, teachers, children, young people, adults and older dancers. This team leads on the 40+ classes in the venue every week, our youth dance companies, our schools’ work, community performances and, increasingly, dance work in the community.

We’re looking for a maternity cover who can hit the ground running, who has good communication and time management skills to join a busy and dynamic team.

Salary range:                    £18,000 pro rata

Terms:                                       3 days a week (0.6 of Full Time)

Base:                               Pavilion Dance South West, Westover Road, Bournemouth, BH1 2BU
