Exchange Opportunities – North East Inclusive Dance Network

The NEIDN Exchange is a pilot programme, designed to encourage cross collaboration of best practice, skill sharing and networking. We will be rolling out further opportunities to get involved with, so if you would like to offer or are looking for an opportunity please get in touch with Hannah and Rachel at info@neidn.co.uk. NEIDN Exchange Opportunities

Molly Grey
Dance Artist

Molly is offering shadowing experiences at one of her inclusive dance sessions. These sessions are taught termly so will only take place on specific dates.
1. Mondays, In Motion at Dance City, Newcastle, 1.30pm – 2.30pm
2. Tuesdays, Express Yourself Dance at Torch Centre, Hexham, 2pm – 3pm
Molly is also offering the opportunity to meet for a coffee and a chat about her work/ experience on Mondays at 1pm at Dance City.

 

Lynn Campbell
Dance Artist/ Arts Connect

Lynn is offering the following opportunities:
1. To shadow at Hang Out and Dance classes which are inclusive classes for young people with SEND and without. Taking place at Dance City Monthly.
2. To shadow sessions including some aerial and some movement exploration/dance with 2 tutors and up to groups of 10. Taking place at Dance City Monthly.
Lynn also runs Arts Connect for Newcastle Council’s children with disabilities team. Lynn can offer inclusive chats over a cup of coffee to discuss her work and the Arts Connect Opportunities. Dates and times to be arranged on expression of interest.

Dance City are offering the following opportunities:

1. 30 minutes informal Q&A with Interim Artistic Director, Phil Douglas, date and time to be arranged between the individual and Phil.
2. 30 minutes informal Q&A with Interim Creative Producer, Alex Anslow, date and time to be arranged between the individual and Alex.
3. Free ticket to the Season Launch on 11 February 2020 with the opportunity to attend the dress rehearsal in order to meet the producers of the event and the special guests performing in it.
