Executive Director – Yorkshire Dance

Yorkshire Dance is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Director to join our highly-committed team. We’re looking for someone who is excited by (and highly skilled in) finance, commercial management, processes, people, culture and compliance to enable the organisation to flourish and to deliver its artistic ambitions.

 

You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar role at senior management level within a successful arts or cultural organisation.  Your role will be to work alongside and report to the CEO / Artistic Director to help shape Yorkshire Dance and create and implement its strategic plan. You will lead on financial management and the appointment and management of staff. You will have particular responsibility for the legal, financial and operational wellbeing of Yorkshire Dance, its work, staff and community. You will hold the position of Company Secretary and be responsible for servicing Yorkshire Dance’s Board of Trustees.

Yorkshire Dance is based in central Leeds, in the heart of Quarry Hill’s blossoming cultural quarter, where it manages a thriving building with three fully-equipped dance studios, meeting rooms, office space and a range of creative tenants.
